-The Goblin
I've been wondering if there was anyone else out there who was concerned about goblin related law issues, thank you for answering my prayers!
ReplyDeleteWhat is a law goblin? Do you bring your ballet shoes and rope ladder to court?
ReplyDeleteWill Ognok Vs. Wipple ever be overturned? The segregation of Ogres and Goblins has gone on for far too long.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comments.
ReplyDeleteVan, I have looked up the case you are referring to but i could not find it. Is this a US case?
As for the civil rights issues of Ogres and Goblins this is an interesting area of the law. Neither Goblins or Ogres are as of yet accepted under the law as a suspect or quasi suspect class which may afford them Constitutional protection. This is a significant hindrance in pursuing any claims for civil rights violations.
I do agree with you that the Goblin/ Ogre segregation is an outrage and an insult to the civil rights gains made over the past 100 years in this country.
The legislature and the courts at this point seem unwilling to put in place new laws or upholding any decisions that would extend these natural human rights to these two groups.
I would hope that on this day of inauguration of country's first African American President, we can look forward to a progressive and enlightened treatment of minority groups.
The difference is, Ogres are noble creatures with a long history of cooperation with human beings and extraordinary skill at weaving.
ReplyDeleteGoblins are hateful, greedy little gemmongers with no soul, conscience, nor any use to the world.
Brett, I should have made this clear in my initial posts and I will clarify this with a post in the future. This blog is not concerned with Goblin/Ogre lore. I am here to discuss legal issues and goblin/ogre issues. I am interested in facts and reasoned discussion, not a dialogue on the fantastical tales of mythical creatures
ReplyDeleteMr. Goblin,
ReplyDeleteWill you, or your blog, have any association with "The Law Tigers" aka the lawyers that ride? If so, this could be the greatest collection of legal minds ever known to man.
Jerry, thanks for your input. I have had no contact with the law tigers as of yet, but I welcome any collaboration to work on legal issues.
ReplyDeleteDear Law Goblin,
ReplyDeleteI must admit that I am kind of confused as well. You said "this blog is not concerned with Goblin/Ogre lore." I was hoping you can clarify for me which group of people you are referring to by "goblins" and "ogres"? Maybe you should write that on your "purpose" section.
